Academic Positions in Women’s Pathology at Women & Infants Hospital of RI

We are seeking two BC/BE pathologists with fellowship training in gynecologic and/or breast pathology to join our team at one of the nation’s premier women and infants hospitals.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Academic hospital practice and Brown University faculty appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor of pathology
  • Surgical pathology examinations (outpatient and inpatient), including gynecologic , breast and GI specimens
  • BC/BE Anatomic Pathology.BC/BE in Clinical Pathology & Cytopathology desirable
  • Education and clinical supervision of medical students, pathology and OB/GYN residents and fellows
  • Approximately 17,000 surgical specimens, 100 fine needle aspirations, 55,000 gynecology cytology specimens, plus 850 external consultations
  • Weekday schedule with call 1 week every nine weeks and every ninth weekend
  • 70% clinical; 20% academic; 10% administrative responsibilities
