The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport (LSUHSC-S) is seeking a senior pathologist for Head of Surgical Pathology. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position and be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and must have more than 10 years of experience.  The candidate will have service and teaching responsibilities and will be expected to have an established national reputation and a track record of academic productivity and research. The Department of Anatomic Pathology provides comprehensive services to University Hospital and the community at large.  The multidisciplinary laboratory has an active, growing outreach program and closely interacts with the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center in service, teaching and research endeavors.  Excellent opportunities for basic and/or clinical research are available.  Expertise/fellowship training in surgical pathology with subspecialty field with proven academic accomplishment is required.
